The European Jewish Congress (EJC) calls on the European Union and leaders of European nations to unequivocally condemn the barbaric murder of Yosef Salomon, his daughter Chaya and son Elad as they were celebrating a Sabbath dinner together on Friday night in Halamish.

“This bestial hacking to death of three unarmed and innocent people as they celebrated the Sabbath is unquestionably evil and must be condemned by the European Union and leaders of all European nations,” Dr. Moshe Kantor, President of the EJC, said. “There is no justification and no comparison for these barbaric murders.”

“We hope that Europe will back Israel as it seeks to increase safety and security for all peoples of the region, be they Muslim, Christian or Jew, especially on the Temple Mount, and not pressure Israel because of further wild incitement to violence.”

The EJC sends its prayers to the families of those killed in Halamish and a speedy recovery to those injured in the attack.
